Preview

The second semi-final of the CPL 2021 will see Guyana Amazon Warriors lock horns against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Captain Nicholas Pooran led from the front and helped his team reach the second position in the tournament with 12 points in 10 games, while Romario Shepherd and Chandrapaul Hemraj are in exquisite form as well. On the other hand, Patriots also had 12 points registered against their name, but lost their last league game to the defending champions. Yet, with Evin Lewis and Dominic Drakes leading the batting and bowling deparments respectively, the third placed team could very well come on top in this mega blockbuster, if their marquee players fire.

Analysis

Both these teams are equipped with elite players and can out-perform any team on their day. But inconsistency has been the problem for both. Entering the second semi-final, both teams will be requiring their marquee players to perform and lead the side from the front. Whichever  team's players fire from the start is sure to progress into the finals as the Warner Park has already shown unpredictable nature.
