It's been quite a dramatic contest between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings in Dubai on Tuesday. It all started with some explosive batting by the RR batsmen in the first half of their innings. However, some brilliant death bowling by Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Shami restricted them to a total of 185 on a good batting wicket.

Sanju Samson's side needed some early wickets to get themselves back in the contest and they did get quite a few opportunities but unfortunately failed to take any of them. On one side, Punjab Kings were absolutely brilliant on the field as they took some breathtaking catches. However, Rajasthan Royals had a very contrasting day in the fielding department as the ball just denied to stick to their hands.

Lucky day for KL Rahul in Dubai

KL Rahul was the man in form coming into this contest and dismissing him would have given a major boost to Rajasthan Royals. However, he smashed a ball straight into the hands of Evin Lewis very early in the innings, but the West Indies cricketer failed to hold on to the catch.

One does not really get the opportunity to dismiss Rahul so early but Rajasthan Royals surprisingly got another chance when the right-handed batsman mistimed a shot off Chris Morris as the ball went up in the air. Riyan Parag got under the ball but guess what, the catch was dropped once again!

In a dramatic sequence of events, Rahul played another shot into the hands of the fielder but this time around, it was Chetan Sakariya who blew away the chance. In space of only 19 deliveries, the captain of PBKS survived three chances and fans had just no clue what was happening on the field.
