It's been a crazy couple of days in the Indian cricket circuit. While renowned Indian cricket commentator abruptly disappeared from a live chat leaving the fans worried about his well-being on Thursday before it turned out that it was part of a promo, Rajasthan Royals admin and Sanju Samson together played out a prank on Friday which hasn't gone down too well with a section of the fans.

The entire drama unfolded on Friday evening when the verified Rajasthan Royals social media account shared an edited image of their captain Sanju Samson and took a dig at him. However, Samson did not take it in the right spirit and stated that teams should be professional, filing an official complaint with the team management who also took the original post down.

Later, the team account even shared an official statement saying that they are looking for a new social media team which led many to believe that they have indeed sacked the social media admin. However, it later turned out to be a prank. The same has irked cricket fans and followers.

"Ch****a banaya sabko," a user shared an image responding to the revelation that it was a prank. "Sab milke pagal bana rahe the. Pranks hi khelo sab ?," wrote another user. "Here to play cricket or play pranks? Woh bhi itne unfunny :/," said another Twitter user.

Earlier when fans had started to speculate all sorts of things regarding Bhogle's sudden disappearance from a live session, even he had to chip in with an explanation.

"I am fine. Sorry to have got a lot of you worried. Thank you for the love and concern. It became more viral than I anticipated. That too is a learning. It was meant to lead to something else. Sorry. And cheers," he tweeted. "You learn something new every day. It seemed a lighthearted thing to do but, in its execution, it became something that I didn't think it would. I am actually a bit embarrassed now," he added.

Meanwhile, RR will begin their IPL 2022 campaign against SunRisers Hyderabad on March 29.
