In the recent round of tests, a content team official has been confirmed positive for the virus ahead of IPL 2021. “It is an official from the CSK content team. His tests came through today, following which he has been completely isolated from the rest of the squad. It can be confirmed that he didn’t go anywhere near the players and support staff. Meanwhile, 8 groundsmen have also tested positive at Wankhede Stadium ahead of the cash-rich league. Seeing this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named Hyderabad and Indore as the venues which can be looked into if things get worse.
