In what comes as a huge news in the Indian cricket circuit star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings could part ways ahead of the next season of the Indian Premier League. A report carried by a leading English daily has claimed that the two parties have not been in touch at all since the conclusion of IPL 2022 and separation of paths seems inevitable at this point.

Notably, Ravindra Jadeja was named the captain of the Chennai franchise days before the start of IPL 2022. However, when the Men in Yellow could not get the desired results in the initial half of the competition, an official release by the franchise stated that captaincy was being handed back to MS Dhoni. Jadeja's underwhelming returns with the bat and ball didn't help his cause either.

However, Ravindra Jadeja felt that the entire situation could have been handled better and while Jadeja removed posts related to the four-time IPL champions from his social media profile, the team also unfollowed him. And now a fresh carried by TOI that there has been no communication at all between the CSK team management and Jadeja ever since May 2022.

Even though the Dhoni-led team is known to work like a family and there has been a lot of positive feedback on the kind of team atmosphere at the Chennai camp, seems like the 33-years-old has not been an active member of the team activities of CSK.

Having said that, there is no official confirmation regarding the departure of the southpaw from Chennai. Before IPL 2023 auctions, MS Dhoni and the management might have a word with him after which a final decision could be made. Up until that point, other teams, keen on onboarding match-winners on their side, will take a lot of interest in what cooks between the two parties.
