CSK has been consistent performer in IPL by reaching playoffs/semi-finals in all the seasons from 2008-2015. After getting banned in the next two IPL seasons of 2016 and 2017, they made a great comeback by winning the IPL trophy in 2018. However, in 2019, they ended up losing the finals unfortunately by just 1 run.

However in 2020 CSK had their worst ever season by winning just 3 matches in their first 11 games of that season due to poor batting. This season with the likes of  Suresh Raina getting back in the side and players like Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali and Krishnappa Gowtham are expected to give solidity for CSK.

Let us look at some of the numbers from CSK and their players
