Rohit Sharma enjoys a great reputation in the field of cricket due to his dynamic batting style, capability to score big in crucial stages. Recently, he was trusted with India's ODI captaincy and was supposed to lead the team in his maiden assignment as a full-time skipper against South Africa before being ruled out of the first Test.

However, following his injuries, he is spending time in the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and on Friday, BCCI shared some pictures of him addressing the U-19 squad ahead of their Asia Cup in UAE. "Priceless lessons. #TeamIndia white-ball captain @ImRo45 made most of his rehab time as he addressed India’s U19 team during their preparations", BCCI captioned the video. Chetan Sharma, Chief Selector of Team India, reacted to the same post by retweeting it with a caption, "Absolutely Priceless for the young ones #future".

And ever since, numerous reports are doing rounds speculating rift between the board and Kohli. However, Rohit Sharma got backing from BCCI President Sourav Ganguly when the President was quoted saying, "Rohit has proved his capability to lead the team and him leading his IPL teams to four IPL trophies speaks volumes of his talent as a leader." And now, Chetan Sharma reacting to Rohit's pictures hints towards him backing the decision of the committee.
