Barely a year after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics which happened in 2021, the sporting world gears up for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. The event will start towards the end of July as the city will host eleven days of high-quality sporting action. 

As the games are broadcast on a worldwide platform, the estimated audience for the event is around a billion people. The city of Birmingham has redeveloped several of their sporting facilities like Alexander Stadium, Sandwell Aquatics Centre etc for the global event.
