The mega multi-sport competition Commonwealth Games 2022 is currently undergoing in Birmingham. The Indian team has so far won 6 medals while also being assured of another medal. It is Australia who are leading the medals tally at the moment as they have already bagged a total of 53 medals including 22 golds. For now, India have 3 golds and all their 6 medals have come in the sport of Weightlifting.

However, the seventh medal is set to come in Lawn Bowls after their Women's fours team entered the Lawn Bowls final. Before the fifth day of the competition, here is what could happen in a handful of events in what would be an action-packed Tuesday.

1. Home favourite Joe Fraser to bag a medal in Men's Parallel Bars final

In the men's Parallel Bars final of Gymnastics at the Commonwealth Games 2022, Joe Fraser is a huge contender to bag a medal. The 2019 parallel bars world champion is fresh from leading England to gold in the men’s team gymnastics at Arena Birmingham and would now be eager to add more medals to his credit in front of his home crowd.

2. New Zealand will beat Sri Lanka in Women's Cricket

In the women's cricket competition, New Zealand are runaway favourites to win the match against Sri Lanka. The two teams have met each other on 8 previous occasions in T20Is and all on those occasions, it was the White Ferns who emerged victorious. In CWG 2022 too, New Zealand have started off with a win while Sri Lanka succumbed to a defeat in their first match.

3. England will beat India in Women's Hockey match

It is going to be an exciting Pool A contest in Women's Hockey when India take on England on Tuesday. While India have won both their matches heading into this game, in their third match they will be up against England who are one of the stronger teams in the competition. Predicting the world number 5 England to beat India in this match. Notably, the top two teams from Pool A will move to the semifinals.

4. Boady Santavy to finish on the podium in Men's 96 kg Weightlifting

Canadian weightlifter Boady Santavy is one name who seems to be one of the favourites to win a medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022. Santavy will compete in the Men's 96 Kg weightlifting and while he had narrowly missed out on a medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics last year, he would be eager to clinch the gold in the Birmingham games. India will have its representation in this category with Vikas Thakur competing in this event.
