It’s been an eventful ICC World Test Championship final so far. And as it heads into the final session on the final (reserve) day, it looks like it is advantage New Zealand as they need just 120 more runs to win the summit clash with all 10 wickets remaining. After managing 217 in the first innings, the Indian bowlers had reduced the Kiwi bowlers to 6/162 but their tail-enders made some vital contribution to ensure they take a 32-run lead.

In the second innings, India were bowled for 180 and yet again the Indian tail did not wag. Moreover, star batsmen like Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara failed to contribute much with the bat and as India are staring at another defeat in an ICC event, netizens have vented out their pain. There have been all sorts of reactions from all corners and interestingly, Congratulations NZ has been trending online with several others sharing memes about India’s poor display with the bat.
