UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor has never shied away from showcasing his love for football to the world. The 32-year-old played a key role in setting up an amateur football team for his local Dublin pub 'The Black Forge'.

The 'Notorius' posted photos of the new home and away jerseys of club Blackforge FC. While the home kit is a stylish-looking white sleek, the away jersey has a blend of black and green stripes. There is an elegant Irish touch in both the jerseys which makes them for a great viewing. As McGregor was seen flaunting the jerseys in his Instagram post, the fans were left in awe of the great fighter.

Is McGregor hinting towards playing football?

However, the caption of McGregor's post gave birth to a few speculations. Apart from mentioning about the jerseys, he wrote, "Can't wait for the games to begin." The fans were made to believe that the 'Mystic Mac' could actually turn up on the football field to play for the amateur team.

Everybody is aware that the 32-year-old MMA fighter is an ardent football fan. It is highly possible that Conor would have written the caption just to express his excitement of supporting his team. However, if the speculations are true, watching the great fighter displaying his football skills would be a dream come true for all the fans.
