Cricket Australia has released the fixture list of their home season in the 2022-23 international summer. The Aussies will have a lot of games against many bilateral opponents than any previous season. The men's and women's schedule released, includes 28 Test and limited-overs internationals against Zimbabwe, New Zealand, West Indies, England, South Africa and Pakistan stretching from late August to the end of January.
The Australian team will start their home season against Zimbabwe in a three-game ODI series at the Riverway Stadium in August. Then they will face New Zealand in three ODIs in September. Then the West Indies will travel to the Gold Coast for a two-game T20I series followed by England in a three-game T20I series in October.
After the T20 World Cup, England will continue their Australian summer as they will be part of a five-game ODI series in November. Then the Aussies kick off their home Test season as they face West Indies towards the end of November followed by a four-game series against South Africa.
The Proteas will then play a three-game ODI series to finish their tour down under. Then in 2023, the Australian women’s team will host Pakistan in a grueling tour of three ODIs and three T20Is.
