In the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 match between India and Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, eyes were set on both teams as the winner of this contest was to qualify for the final of competition. Batting first after winning the toss, India posted a total of 168/6 in their 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma shone with his bat again and racked up a brisk 75 off 37. His knock included 11 boundaries (six fours and five maximums). Shubman Gill also smashed 29 off 19 while Hardik Pandya also notched up 38 off 29.
Following the target, Bangladesh lost their top-order batters Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain Emon within seven overs. Veteran Jasprit Bumrah delivered the first breakthrough to India as the speedster got the southpaw caught at the hands of Shivam Dube. During the conversation, Juyal alter his dialogue from his new web series Ba***ds of Bollywood and made Sanjana say it with her husband Jasprit Bumrah’s name. On Juyal’s insistence, Sanajana said the dialogue, 'aakhi duniya ek taraf, mera Bumrah ek taraf'.
India beat Bangladesh comfortably and qualified for the final
Team India have beaten Bangladesh to advance to the final of the tournament. While chasing the target, Bangladesh could score only 127 in their 19.3 overs. Except for Saif Hassan, all other Bangla batters have struggled to be among the runs. Kuldeep Yadav again emerged as a mystery for batters as the 31-year-old got three wickets in his four-over spell after splurging only 18 runs.
Besides Kuldeep, Varun Chakaravarthy has also looked extraordinary as he registered 2/29 figures in his four overs. Jasprit Bumrah spearheaded the fast-bowling attack confidently and took 2/18 figures after bowling four overs, Axar Patel also got one wicket after completing his four overs,
