Alyssa Healy smashed a terrific century in the last ODI match of her career. She ended up with 158 of just 98 balls against India Women in the third ODI match at Hobart which also was her farewell match in this format. The Australian wicket-keeper has been a remarkable player in this format and has done well in ICC events. She has had a successful time both as a batter and a wicket-keeper. She did well in the 2022 World Cup and again in the recent 2025 World Cup where she left a mark. Alyssa was dismissed for 158 by Sneh Rana and bids adieu to this format in which she has been a mainstay for the Australian team for almost a decade. Alyssa Healy ends her ODI career with her eighth century and it was a fitting way to end a terrific career. Healy was excellent in this game scoring 158 and her knock included 27 fours and two sixes. She helped Australia post a massive total of 409/7 in the first innings and it looks highly likely that she will be the player of the match in her Final ODI and also if Australia win this match, they will clinch the series 3-0 and under the captaincy of Healy it would be a fantastic achievement as she bows out.
Mitchell Starc who is the husband of Healy was present in the commentary box during her knock and it was a proud moment for him and Healy got a guard of honour from the Indian team when she walked out to bat for the final time in her ODI career. She is set to play the upcoming Test against India which will be her last international game of her career and it has been an illustrious career.
