The situation deteriorated further as Hollie Armitage, Nicola Carey and Alice Monaghan were dismissed, leaving MI London reeling at 23/5 after 36 balls.

Amelia Kerr then produced the innings that changed the contest. The New Zealand all-rounder counterattacked brilliantly, scoring an unbeaten 69 from 41 balls and carrying MI London to 122/9 from their 100 balls.
