The Kolkata Knight Riders batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi became the first player in IPL 2026 to be given out for obstructing the field. KKR were already in deep trouble with a couple of early wickets and just when Raghuvanshi and Cameron Green were trying to build a partnership, the incident happened. Things did not end up well as the batter was clearly frustrated with the decision as Raghuvanshi even tried to demonstrate and show that he did not change direction. The umpire’s decision couldn’t be changed and the Kolkata Knight Riders were unhappy about the decision. Raghuvanshi held his frustration in and when he reached the boundary line, he wildly swinged his bat and threw his helmet in frustration.

Abhishek Nayar and Shane Watson were animated in the dugout as they could not believe the decision. There are less chances of KKR making it big but with the form of the LSG batting unit, you never know what’s a good score.
