The year 2025 saw plenty of runs, wickets and close matches. There was some excellent individual performances some of them where teams chased down record totals. Others came in a losing cause but had similar impact and few others by young Indian talent who took it to the bowlers and announced their arrival in style. In this article we look at the best individual performances with the bat in IPL 2025.
1.Abhishek Sharma 141 off 55 vs PBKS
The left-hander from SRH smashed 141 runs off just 55 balls, with 14 fours and 10 sixes, at a mind-boggling strike rate of 256.36. The aggression, audacity, and sheer clean striking from Abhishek left the Punjab bowlers clueless and the crowd in absolute raptures.
SRH were chasing a huge target of 246 set by Punjab Kings, but on the back of this scintillating century from Abhishek, Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down the target by 8 wickets and 9 balls to spare. This was also second-highest successful run chase in IPL history.
2. Rishabh Pant 118 off 61 vs RCB
Rishabh Pant had a very bad patch in IPL 2025 and it took almost the fag end of the season to find himself back. He returned to his supreme best as he blazed his way to an unbeaten 118(61) to power the hosts to 227/3 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Ekana Stadium.
His unbeaten 118 were laced with 11 fours and nine sixes. He struck at a strike rate of 193.44. Although his team lost the match, it was an innings of highest caliber from the LSG captain.
3.Mitch Marsh 117 of 64 vs GT
Mitch Marsh scored a terrific century of just 56 deliveries with the help of 10 fours and six maximums against Gujarat Titans. He was also the first overseas batter to score a 100 in that season. He was eventually nabbed by Arshad Khan on 117 runs.
Lucknow Super Giants secured a consolation 33-run victory over Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad powered by Mitchell Marsh’s maiden IPL century of 117 runs off 64 balls. LSG posted 235 for 2 in their 20 overs while restricting GT to 202 for 9.
4.Vaibhav Suryavanshi 101 of 38 vs GT
14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest centurion in men’s Twenty20 cricket as he cruised Rajasthan Royals to an eight-wicket victory over the Gujarat Titans in an Indian Premier 2025 League match in Jaipur.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi started well and took it to Gujarat’s bowling attack, hitting 11 sixes and seven fours in his 101 off 38 balls, as Rajasthan Royals chased down a 209-run target in 15.5 overs. The young left handed batter rose to fame and ever since that innings his confidence has gone to another level.
5.Sai Sudharsan 108 of 61 vs DC
Sudarshan scored an unbeaten 108 runs from 61 balls at a whopping strike rate of 177.05, which was featured with 12 fours and sixes in his innings. Delhi Capitals set a target of more than 200 against Gujarat Titans but it did not prove to be enough.
A dominant 205-run partnership between captain Shubman Gill and opener Sai Sudarshan powered Gujarat Titans to rattle the Delhi Capitals bowling unit and register a thumping 10-wicket victory at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. This was one of the finest knock in IPL 2025.
