There was a tweet going around from an account claiming to be from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi calling out Sanjay Manjrekar. But no, it was not from his original account as he doesn't even have an X account and it was just a fan claiming to be the voice of the young Bihari. The Indian commentator and former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar tweeted on X stating that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had to be dropped from the playing squad against Afghanistan. This was due to the heated exchange that took place between him and the Sri Lankan players in the Super Over of the previous match. The fake account claimed that the veteran shouldn’t judge the situation from just the half video going viral on the internet.
“If I was India A coach or manager I would have left Vaibhav Suryavanshi out for this game v AFG. Only to let him know that it's not OK to get physical on the field. Whatever the provocations,” tweeted Sanjay Manjrekar on X calling out the inclusion of the teenager in the squad in the match against Afghanistan A.
“I respect your experience a lot. But please don't judge from the half video going viral on the internet,” said the fake account of young Vaibhav Sooryavanshi on X. The support for the youngster has only increased since the verbal exchange between the players. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has faced criticism as well as received backing for his physical gestures during the heated exchange on the field,

India A march into the Tri-Series final
During the game between India A and Sri Lanka A, there was a tense moment on field that broke out between the Sri Lankan players and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The reason for the frustration of Sooryavanshi was quite clear as he couldn’t help his side win the game. It is obvious that he might have felt vivid with himself but the verbal exchange on the field was uncalled for. There are rumours that the Sri Lankans verbally abused him but still there’s no clarity and there were reports that some of the players approached Sooryavanshi to express their regret for the incident.
As India A secured a commanding victory in their game against Afghanistan A, they have entered the finals of the Tri-series. Tilak Varma and his men have been in superb form throughout the series and the only aberration they faced was against Sri Lanka A in their previous game. Ruturaj Gaikwad has been the standout batter in the series as he has scored 234 runs from 4 innings and his consistency has been unmatched. Nishant Sindhu has emerged as yet another player to watch out for India as he was awarded the Player of the Match against Afghanistan A. He picked up 4 wickets in the game and made a handy contribution with the bat as well.
India A will be waiting to know the finalists that they will take on at Dambulla on Sunday, 21st June. The winner in the clash between Afghanistan A and Sri Lanka A will be facing India in the Finals of the series. The Men in Blue will be prepared to land the final blow in the series and they will be confident about securing the title as well.
