This mammoth total officially stands as the highest team score in the history of the IPL playoffs and knockouts, completely smashing the previous record. Openers Venkatesh Iyer and Virat Kohli didn't waste a second. Iyer attacked Mohammed Siraj for 14 runs in the very first over. After Iyer fell for a quick 19, Devdutt Padikkal blasted Kagiso Rabada for three consecutive boundaries. RCB raced to 76/1 by the end of the Powerplay.
