Yograj Singh’s controversial words on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli

Yograj Singh has always made controversies with his words, speaking about any general topic or about cricket. Earlier this year, he spoke about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s retirement. Before this, he has also badmouthed MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev a few times.

Speaking on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s retirement, Yograj Singh expressed his disappointment on the age factor in cricket, saying that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are still young and they are quitting cricket already, they should be ashamed of themselves.

“Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are young cricketers, and they want to quit. Laanat hai zindagi bhar. Making the world realise you are great, that you are indispensable. Even if you are fifty years old and scoring a double ton, no one will drop you. Age is a funny thing in this country,” he said.

Both Rohit and Kohli have stepped away from T20I and Test cricket and now only play ODI, giving a chance to youngsters.
