India put up a mammoth total of 255/5 when asked to bat first in the ultimate game of the T20 World Cup. The Men in Blue led by Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson took New Zealand by a storm and demolished their bowlers. Ishan Kishan joined in and continued the proceedings in the same way before Shivam Dube came up with his magic finishing touch.
The Indian bowlers were firing on all cylinders to defend their total and win back-to-back World Cups for India. Arshdeep Singh started off brilliantly and gave away just four runs in the opening over and almost took the wicket of Finn Allen had it not been a dropped catch from Shivam Dube. Tim Seifert attacked Hardik Pandya and scored 21 runs off the second over and put the pressure back on India.
In came Axar Patel in the third over who cleaned up Finn Allen this time and gave India the breakthrough. Jasprit Bumrah also joined the attack in the fourth over and took the wicket of Rachin Ravindra off the first ball, courtesy of a fantastic catch by Ishan Kishan. Indian fans should thank the almighty because Jasprit Bumrah plays for their nation. Hardik Pandya made a comeback and dismissed Mark Chapman.
Let us take a look at how users on the internet has reacted to India’s bowling so far.
Users on X (formerly Twitter) have hailed Suryakumar Yadav for bringing Axar Patel to take the wicket of Finn Allen which highlights how precisely the team management has planned for possible matchups and other tactical decisions. One user also said that India missed Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya in the final of November 19, 2023 against Australia.
Sky that was such a fucking beautiful tactical decision bringing on Axar, Finn had his struggles against him. Speaks hugely on how the team planned out their wickets, matchups. See how sky pulled back the mid on fielder to long on. What planning does to you. Beautiful

Fans have also labelled Jasprit Bumrah as ‘The best bowler in the world’ after he came to India’s rescue yet again. Some users have also hailed as ‘once in a generation’ type of player.
I had never seen Malcolm Marshall playing live. But yes, I have seen Jasprit Bumrah. Once in a generation player, conceeded only 9 runs with a wicket in the powerplay of this mega final, which is unbelievable. Jai Ho India.@Jaspritbumrah93
