India's squad for T20I series against South Africa announced

The Senior Men’s Selection Committee has picked India’s squad for the upcoming IDFC First Bank five-match T20I series against South Africa.

Gill Returns 

Gill injured his neck during the first innings of the Kolkata Test vs South Africa and missed the next game in Guwahati and was also ruled out of the ongoing three-ODI series vs the same opposition. He was advised rest by a spine specialist in Mumbai and has been away from action since.

Shubman Gill has played 33 T20Is and scored 837 runs. He has formed a good pair with Abhishek Sharma at the top for India and he will be keen to get some game time.
