The Southern Derby or Clasico as you say, CSK vs RCB is a heated battle not only on the field but also in social media among the Yellow Army and the Royal Army. Over the past few years the rivalry has only gotten more intense and more ugly. Mostly two fan bases who are loyal Dhoni fans and some of them who are Virat Kohli fans constantly keep bashing each other. After winning the championship last year RCB Fans didn’t hold back to troll CSK fans.

We have seen videos on violence on match days from both stadiums and also seen CSK fans wearing “ 49 all out” to rattle RCB fans and RCB fans wearing Jail shirts to rattle CSK fans and getting viral.

This time a KKR fan was seen to speak about the difference in fan culture in both the stadiums openly after the CSK vs KKR game yesterday. He said , "If I come to Chennai for a match, even if I win or lose, they will congratulate me whether I win or lose. The opposite happens in Bangalore. Even if you lose, you get trolled, you get hit. Even if you win, the same..."

How did Netizens react?

Some netizens said it is good that the toxicity of RCB fans is finally exposed and good to see people are speaking freely about it.

Some said KKR fan is trying to divert from the humiliation they faced against CSK match.

Few said this should stop as both teams have Indian players and people should learn to respect each other.

Some pointed out trolling is part of the game. If you can’t take banters then it is better to stop watching IPL.

To this few people said not to justify vandalism in name of troll, two are different things asking fans to grow up and stop supporting mob mentality.
