
India’s limited overs captain Shubman Gill made headlines with his recent visit to Paris. The Indian skipper visited Paris Saint Germain’s home stadium the Parc des Princes during his time off from competitive cricket. Gill is taking some time off from cricket and is also nursing an injury while experiencing a dip in form.
Gill was in attendance during PSG’s high profile clash against their arch rivals Olympique de Marseille. The 26-year-old enjoyed the “Le Classique” where PSG ran riot with a 5-0 victory in front of their home fans. After the match, Gill teamed up with Ballon D’or winner Ousmane Dembele and exchanged a handshake and a few words of appreciation.

Gill also met Désiré Doué and had a brief conversation with the young gun. This was Gill’s second visit to the Parc des Princes. His last visit dates back to June 2023 where he was honoured with a #7 PSG jersey bearing his name. This time he was presented with a #77 jersey with his name by president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Both the presents underline PSG’s admiration towards Gill and his growing global market value.
Gill also shared pictures from his visit to PSG on his social media handles and wrote “Merci PSG” meaning “Thank You PSG”. He shared the pictures in three different posts.
Fans are supporting Gill during his time off from cricket and rooting for him to make a remarkable comeback.

While many users complimented Gill for his notable looks and outfit.
