
Strengths
South Africa did really well in the 2024 WT20 where they reached the Finals. They have a settled squad and plenty of fire power in their batting lineup. They will back their chances to do well.
Weaknesses
South Africa lack in the spin bowling options and both their premium spinners are left-arm spinners. They lack in variety and might rely more on part time options. The pacers might struggle to contain in good batting pitches.
X Factor
Dewald Brevis recently had a wonderful SA20 where he scored a century in the Final. His form in T20s will be a boost for South Africa and he will be the X Factor in this lineup.

Quinton de Kock – The left-hander was player of the tournament in the recent SA20. He also scored a century few matches back against West Indies and has been in sublime form coming into this WT20.
Marco Jansen – He is a talented all-rounder and has picked up 22 wickets while also scoring 195 runs in 24 T20I matches. Jansen will be the player to watch out in this WT20.
