The Tri Nation A series match between Sri Lanka A and India A saw plenty of excellent cricket and plenty of drama. India A were batting first and were in early trouble losing half their side quickly. Suryansh Shegde and Vipraj Nigam counter-attacked and smashed half centuries as India A managed to post a total in the first innings. Chasing the target, Sri Lanka A were ahead in the chase but the Indian spinners bowled brilliantly to get them back in the game. Sri Lanka A needed five runs of the final over and left arm pacer Arshad Khan defended and took the match to a super over.
Lights fading, Tilak Varma confrontation with the umpires

Arshad Khan was given the task of bowling in the super over. Just when the players thought the innings was over, umpires called back the players and signalled the no ball and that meant India A had to bowl one more ball and this led to another argument between the umpires and Tilak Varma.

These games wonât have as many cameras as we are used to seeing in the IPL. The No Ball call in the super over was debatable and the way Sri Lanka delayed coming into bat in the super over really irked the India A side. The frustration shown by the Indian team was⊠pic.twitter.com/AQcsksJMuC

Sri Lanka A win the super over, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi pushes Sri Lanka A player
Sri Lanka smashed 17 runs in the Super over and set India A 18 runs to win. India A fell short in the end and lost the match. After the match was lost, Sri Lanka A players had a word with Vaibhav which led to him pushing one of the players and both had to be separated. This took the headlines and the videos went viral on social media. It was a match that had everything on the field.
