Batting first, the Riyan Parag-led side posted 205 runs with the loss of eight wickets. While the openers and skipper failed to do so, Dhruv Jurel posted 38 runs off 26 balls.

In return, the Blue and Gold Army got off to a dismal start and lost four key wickets within powerplay and were reduced to 38-4.
