A win, is, a win, at the end the day - even if it comes in a warm up contest and that too, with the premier World Cup tournament just a few hours away. Having said that, if there was one team smiling at the conclusion of the India against Proteas warm up game, then it were the hosts, Team India. Having said that, in making 210 runs at the end; the Proteas weren’t any less daunting with the cricket bat. But then off the pitch and away from the ground inside the green room- there were wide eyed smiles and one Indian cricketer, in particular, who was elated at the occasion was the premier left arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh.

The Punjab bowler took to social media to make a quick Instagram reel on the occasion, recording the smiles and feeling of camaraderie as India grabbed a nice win.

Post-match celebrations hit a fun note as Arshdeep Singh turned content creator after India’s warm-up win over South Africa, filming a quick Insta reel inside the camp. Most of the squad seemed to enjoy the moment — but Tilak Varma clearly wasn’t amused after finding himself on camera without consent. Winning games is great, but navigating teammates and reels? That’s a different challenge altogether
