The IPL fever kicks on in the country with just a few more weeks left until the biggest T20 domestic league in the world begins. The 2026 IPL season is set to begin on 28th March and the fixtures are set to be released in the coming weeks. The IPL follows a home and away format which makes it more fascinating and teams are usually expected to do well at home considering they will have a huge say in how the pitches behave. So, for any side to do well in the IPL they need to do well in their home matches. In this article, we take a look on which are the teams that will be playing their home matches in two different venues.

1.Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Defending champions of 2025 IPL, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are set to play their home games in two different venues. This comes as a surprise as in the last so many seasons they have played all their seven home games at Chinnaswamy. But things are about to be changed this edition. RCB will be playing five of their home matches at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru and two matches in Raipur at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium.

2. Rajasthan Royals

They have been playing home games at two different venues almost every season. This time around they will be playing 3 matches in Guwahati and 4 matches in Jaipur. The Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur will be hosting four matches while the other three home games will be played at ACA cricket Stadium in Guwahati. They have a huge fanbase in Guwahati which is also their captain Riyan Parag’s home ground.

3. Punjab Kings

Runners up of IPL 2025, Punjab Kings are also set to play on two different home venues for the upcoming season. Led by Shreyas Iyer and coached by Ricky Ponting they did the same in the last year and it will be no different this season. The iconic stadium at Dharmashala will host three home games for Punjab Kings and the Mullanpur stadium in Chandigarh is set to host four home games for Punjab in the 2026 IPL edition.

4. Delhi Capitals

One franchise who are yet to win a title but keep coming close are the Delhi Capitals. They will be playing five home games in the upcoming season at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Two of their home games will be played in Vizag. The fixtures and exact dates of these matches will be revealed in the coming week when IPL releases the schedule.
