Mukul Choudhary produced a stunning knock to win Lucknow Super Giants the game against Kolkata Knight Riders. It was a one man effort and the youngster smashed an unbeaten half century which helped his side get over the line. Mukul Choudhary was picked up by Lucknow Super Giants for INR 2.60 crore ahead of the 2026 IPL season and the Rajasthan batter has proved his worth in just the third match of the season and has already won the player of the match. Mukul Choudhary made his first-class debut on January 17, 2023 at the Ranji Trophy. His List A debut came on December 24, 2025, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the last few years he has been an aggressive finisher for Rajasthan with a good strike rate. He started his career as a medium-fast bowler and then switched to batting and gained attention for his aggressive and powerful hitting, boasting a striking strike rate of over 165 in domestic T20s. Mukul was out of the side for a few years after not being able to make an impact but a breakout season in the U-23 State A Trophy in 2025, where he scored over 600 runs, forced him back into the reckoning for the domestic side. Choudhary scored 617 runs at 103, which helped him earn a place in the Rajasthan squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He also hit 34 sixes in the competition which is the most by any batter. In the 2025/26 SMAT, Mukul Choudhary scored 173 runs at 57.66 in five matches at an astonishing strike rate of 199 and came into limelight.

Mukul Choudhary was rated highly by the Lucknow Super Giants management who picked him up in the Auction and have backed him as a finisher for the team.
