Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been one of the richest athletes in the world and has never left any opportunity to use his wealth to enjoy his life during the off-season. Recently, the Portuguese star was spotted on vacation with family in Mallorca, Spain. CR7 was seen with his partner and four children relaxing before the start of an important pre-season.

Talking about his vacation, several reports have surfaced addressing the obscene amount of money spent by the global footballing star on a vacation. These reports start with CR7’s private jet which is valued at 22 million euros and then delve into his 27-meter yacht, which is worth 6.5 million euros.

The reports then talk about the villa where the United player has spent around 14,000 euros on household items like towels, sheets and other products necessary for everyday use. Similarly, Cristiano Ronaldo has apparently requested some bespoke sunglasses which are valued at 4,000 euros via the internet. So if one adds all the costs of the yacht, the private plane, the household items, and the sunglasses; Cristiano Ronaldo has spent around 27.6 million euros.

I was and still am very happy to be here: Cristiano Ronaldo

But during this vacation, Cristiano Ronaldo has been involved in countless transfer talks with various clubs from all around the world. But Cristiano Ronaldo last month has clarified his position on being ‘happy’ at Manchester United and is excited to work under new boss Erik ten Hag. “I was and still am very happy to be here, and what I have to say to the fans is they are amazing,” Ronaldo said.

“Even when we lost games, they always support us, they always are with us. The supporters are always in my heart and it’s the people that we all should respect because they are always on our side.”

“For me, the most important thing is to try to win the games and try to win some championship or some cup but I believe that Manchester will be where they belong. As I say before, sometimes it takes time but I still believe,” he continued.
