KKR all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer on Wednesday played mature and steady innings to register a comprehensive win against Mumbai Indians. Iyer, who had a low start to the season, bounced back strongly and made a thumping comeback in the game against Mumbai. The Indian all-rounder is a man of many talents and has gained much appreciation and recognition because of his considerable skills.
Venkatesh Iyer was recently indulged in a 'cute' conversation with Telugu actress on Instagram. Priyanka Jawalkar recently shared a pic on Instagram, wherein she can be seen hiding behind curtains, and she even came up with an adorable caption, which read 'Boo'.
Meanwhile, the KKR all-rounder commented"Cute" on the Jawalkar's picture. In response, the Telugu actress wrote, "Who? You?" There was little doubt that the conversation would soon get much attention from the fans of both, and as expected, it soon became the talk of the town.
Talking about cricket, Iyer, who got a chance to play in the second half of the previous season of IPL, grabbed the opportunity with both hands, as he scored 360 runs at an average of 41 in 10 matches in the last IPL season, including four half-centuries.
While KKR is reigning at the top of the points table with three wins out of four played games, Venkatesh Iyer is regarded as a vital cog in the team and will have to play crucial innings in his side's title chase. The 2-time champions have already defeated defending champions Chennai Super Kings, five-time champions Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings while suffering their only loss at the hands of Delhi Capitals. Kolkata will now lock horns with Delhi Capitals on April 10 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
