After registering a comfortable win in India's women's doubles match earlier today, Sreeja Akula advanced in to the next round after a clean win over Republic of South Africa's Danisha Jayavant Patel. Akula won the first set 11-5.
Akula continued her attacking game as she continued to ease past Patel in the second set 11-3. In this further one-sided match, Akula registered a comfortable win 11-6 in the third set to clinch straight sets win.
With this win, India is now leading over Republic South Africa 3-0.
