Dale Steyn is undoubtedly one of the best pacers to have ever graced the game of cricket. While the legendary cricketer has always been one of the most lively presence on the field, he is certainly quite the same off the field as well. The 37-year-old is quite active on social media and is often the talk of the town with his cheeky comments. There is another hilarious comment by the Protean which is doing the rounds on Twitter on Saturday.

Dale Steyn recalls a legendary moment

The funny sequence of events took place when ESPNcricinfo posted a question on Twitter asking everyone about their favourite batter and a shot that gives them chills every time. While the fans came up with various answers like Sachin Tendulkar's straight drive, MS Dhoni's helicopter shot and Virat Kohli's cover drive, it was Dale Steyn who emerged as the winner of the contest with his epic answer.

The 37-year-old mentioned Sreesanth's iconic six off the bowling of Andre Nel in 2007. Reflecting on the famous swinging bat celebration, Steyn termed the moment as 'Legendary'.

Sreesanth's epic reply to Nel

The incident happened during India's first Test against South Africa in Johannesburg in 2007. South African pacer Andre Nel had bowled a fiery bouncer at Sreesanth and said a few words. The Kerala-born cricketer was certainly fired up because of Nel's actions and audaciously stepped forward off the next delivery to slog a huge six down the ground. The moment became legendary after Sreesanth's famous dance in front of Nel as the banter came to an epic end.
