A new-look Team India are all set to land in Colombo today after they boarded the flight for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka on Monday. The Shikhar Dhawan-led squad will play 3-match ODI series followed by 3-match T20I series under head coach Rahul Dravid. The team will have to undergo a mandatory hard-quarantine of three days before they will be allowed to start training under the prescribed guidelines issued by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).

Entertainment begins ahead of the tour

With so many young and enthusiastic players in the Indian squad in absence of senior players, the atmosphere inside the dressing room is expected to be quite fun and enjoyable. The fans got a glimpse of the same on Monday when Sanju Samson posted a selfie on Instagram with a caption "✈️ ??" reflecting that they are travelling to Sri Lanka.

However, Deepak Chahar (who is also travelling with the team) tried to pull Samson's leg as he commented on the post "Where?" much to the amusement of all fans. The wicketkeeper batsman, who is known to be a very quiet character, came up with a hilarious reply as he commented, "peeche beta hu aaja…" (I am sitting behind, come) sending all the netizens in splits.

Check out the banter here:

Both Deepak Chahar and Sanju Samson will be seen in action playing for Men in Blue in white-ball series against Sri Lanka. The duo will try to make the most out of the opportunities they get on this tour as they try to push their case to get a berth in India's squad for upcoming T20 World Cup scheduled to take place later this year.
