India and Chennai Super Kings star Deepak Chahar recently married his girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj. Chahar had famously proposed to Jaya after CSK's last league match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The couple recently got married at a private ceremony in Agra earlier this month.

In a recent development, the CSK all-rounder shared an adorable video of his dance performance with his wife, Jaya Bharadwaj, from their sangeet ceremony. Chahar gave a hilarious caption to the video as he informed that he was under immense pressure before delivering this dance performance, even more than on a cricket field. He wrote, "Had more pressure than a cricket match. #majboori #apneshaydikadance #firstandlast."

Earlier, Chahar had shared a couple of photos of his wedding ceremony and penned a sweet note for his better half.  "When I first met you the first time, I felt that you are the one, and I was right. We have enjoyed every moment of our life together and I promise to keep you always happy like this. One of the best moments of my life. Everyone, pls give your blessings to us,” Chahar had written.

On the work front, Deepak is still recovering from the injury that had ruled him out of IPL 2022. He was bought by Chennai Super Kings for a sum of Rs 14 crore but the right-arm medium pacer could not feature for the side even for a single game due to fitness issues and his absence was one of the reasons why CSK finished at No 9 in IPL 2022 points table.

Several reports have even suggested that Chahar might miss the T20 World Cup, scheduled in Australia as it might take him a long time to regain fitness required to play at the highest level.
