Twitter reacts after Kohli wins toss

India captain Virat Kohli has had a horrible relationship with tosses. He has lost more tosses than he has won and even though the probability at the outset remains 50 per cent, Kohli has lost close to 60 per cent of all the tosses as captain in international cricket.

Before Team India's T20 World Cup fixture against Scotland on Friday, Kohli had lost all three tosses. However, as Virat turned 33 on Friday, he had luck in his favour as India won their first toss at the ongoing marquee event.

As has been the trend owing to the dew coming in later, Virat opted to field first. Social media has not been able to keep calm following Virat winning the toss on his birthday.

Here are some of the hilarious things that netizens have posted:

Earlier former India opener Aakash Chopra highlighted how Kohli in fact has the worst toss record in the last 50 years in contrast to Rahul Dravid - who has the best record with 58-50 % record at winning tosses.

"What about Kohli and tosses? If you see, he has captained India in 8 T20Is this year and won just one toss. If you look at his career, then in the win and loss toss percentage for players who have captained in more than 100 games (across formats), Kohli has the worst record in the last 50 years," Chopra said in a video uploaded on his YouTube channel.

"He's won the toss in about 40% of matches. And the best is Rahul Dravid's. His was nearly 58-60%. Dhoni is also around 47-18. And Kohli is right around the bottom which means luck doesn't support him," he added.

India made a solitary change in their Playing XI for the match against Scotland as they brought in Varun Chakravarthy for Shardul Thakur. The team has managed to bowl out Scotland for 85 runs and now need to chase down the target within 7.1 overs to get the best Net Run Rate in the Group.
