New Zealand ended up scoring 378 runs in the first innings, courtesy of a sensational knock by debutant Devon Conway, who scored a double century in his very first innings of Test cricket. Devon Conway had created many milestones on Wednesday when he scored his maiden hundred on debut. However, he made Day 2 more special as he has become the first batsman to score a double century in debut Test innings since 2003.
