SRH already being out of playoffs race will just be playing for pride and would look to spoil KKR's chances of entering the playoffs. For KKR, a win will be huge advantage for them as they have a better NRR while compared to teams like RR, PBKS and MI thus on virtue of it they would be looking to qualify for IPL 2021 playoffs.

Last time when these two teams faced each other in Chennai, KKR ended up defeating SRH by margin of 10 runs. However, on UAE soil, KKR have won both their matches against SRH in IPL so far.
