Dinesh Karthik to be a part of ‘The Hundred’ tournament, named in commentary panel

Dinesh Karthik to be a part of 'The Hundred' tournament

From the domestic circuit to Team India, Dinesh Karthik is now up for some international leagues. The Kolkata Knight Riders wicket-keeper batsman is all set to feature in ‘The Hundred’ tournament which is scheduled to begin from July 21 this year in the UK.  The veteran cricketer has decided to join the commentary panel for the upcoming league.

Sky Sports, the official broadcast partner has confirmed its star-studded commentary lineup for The Hundred and Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik will join the likes of Andrew Flintoff, Stuart Broad, Kevin Pietersen, Kumar Sangakkara in the panel.

Broadcasters also revealed a star-studded lineup for its coverage of the summer’s sporting event which includes the likes of Jacqueline Shepherd, Kass Naidoo, Flintoff and Zainab Abbas as presenters for the live broadcast of the tournament. Some of the other prominent names joining the tournament are Tammy Beaumont, Daren Sammy, Mel Jones, Wasim Akram and Lydia Greenway. The newly selected commentary panel for The Hundred tournament will join regulars Nasser Hussain, Rob Key, Ebony Rainford-Brent, Ian Ward, David Lloyd, Nick Knight, Mike Atherton and Mark Butcher.

The Hundred is a new 100-ball cricket tournament which will see both me and women cricketers featuring in the competition this English summer. The inaugural edition is set to kickstart from July 21 with the women’s match between Oval Invincibles & Manchester Originals.
