It hasn't been an easy IPL season for the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians. While they had somehow managed to finish the India leg of the competition inside the top four, post that wins have been hard to come by for the and the Blue and Gold Brigade has won just a solitary match in the UAE leg.

Although Rohit is doing his bit to motivate his players to try and win the remaining fixtures and see what happens at the points table, he is also spending some quality time with his family. In the latest video shared on his social media, the Hitman can be seen playing a prank on his wife Ritika.

While the opening batter first shows that he has kept chocolate inside the closed fist of his hand, he then goes to Ritika who is reluctant to open the fist and thinks there is something scary inside his hand. When she is afraid of what is inside, the reaction on her face is captured in the video.

"Do you think I will scare you Ritika? I swear. Just fist bump,” Rohit can be heard speaking from behind the camera. Eventually, Ritika gives into Rohit's request and the video ends with Ritika smiling after being a victim of a successful prank by Rohit.

However, the 34-year-old cricketer would hope that he could contribute to Mumbai's win and then take the form into the T20 World Cup also set to happen in the Middle East- across Oman and UAE.

Although there is no official confirmation yet, he is likely to be the country's next captain in the T20I format after Virat Kohli announced that he would be stepping down from the role post the tournament.

Virat has meanwhile also decided to quit as the Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper after the completion of this season, citing workload management. However, before he bids adieu to his role, he has a chance to end the team's search for a maiden title win and the team has already entered the Playoffs.

Kohli would now want his team to finish inside the top two and go out there to win the final.
