After a rain marred Belgian GP, following a two lap run behind the Safety car, action now shifts to the Dutch GP, which is making its Formual One return after 36 years. The Dutch GP could not make a return in 2020 initially due to Covid- 19 pandemic and now the event is being held in 2021.  The race is the home race for the Red Bull Driver and Championship competitor Max Verstappen.

Having led the Championship for most of the early season in 2021, Verstappen would have his eyes set on his home race to recover the 3 points deficit against Lewis Hamilton. After their infamous touch at British GP, due to which Verstappen crashed in the barriers, no wheel to wheel racing has happened between the duo. But with high voltage racing environment at Netherlands, wheel to wheel racing could be on the cards.
