The ongoing season of Indian Premier League has produced a lot of moments where the captains have changed the game with their smart moves on the field. The match no. 26 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings saw another captaincy masterstroke and this time it was Virat Kohli who was in the middle of all the action on Friday.

Kohli's plan to dismiss Shahrukh

After Chris Gayle and KL Rahul had laid a solid platform for Punjab Kings, a mini middle-order collapse followed which put PCB back on top of the game. To get ahead in the contest, Virat Kohli was attacking the opposition with his spin duo of Shahbaz Ahmed and Yuzvendra Chahal. As the RCB leg-spinner came to bowl the 14th over, Kohli placed himself in the slip cordon to put more pressure on the new batsman Shahrukh Khan.

After bowling a dot delivery, Yuzi followed it up with a perfect googly which went on to hit the pads. The umpire turned down the LBW appeal as the ball was missing the stumps. However, skipper Kohli wanted the leg-spinner to bowl a similar delivery once again as he said, "Ek aur daal" while looking at him. Yuzi followed the instructions of his captain, bowled another googly and clean-bowled Shahrukh Khan as the masterplan behind the dismissal worked to perfection.
