The super Sunday ended in a thriller for IPL fans as Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals produced a neck-to-neck battle at the Wankhede Stadium. The match had so many ups and downs that even a rollercoaster would take shelter. Both teams implemented some strange tactics which eventually backfired. But the biggest regret for Lucknow management was holding up Stoinis till No. 8. Although the batter showed some promise, he could not finish the game for his team.
With 15 runs required off the last over and debutant Kuldeep Sen in attack, RR fans almost lost hope. But the pacer showed great composure to execute his Yorkers to perfection. He successfully defended 15 runs and sealed the game for his team. RR managed a win by the barest of margins, by three runs.
