In a bizarre turn of events in Chhattisgarh, a fake application for the post of a teacher by the name of MS Dhoni has been unearthed. While the candidates are upset over the stalled recruitment process of as many as 14850 teachers, this saga surrounding the fake Dhoni application has come to the fore. Notably, a candidate named “Mahendra Singh Dhoni” applied for the post of a teacher in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur. Furthermore, the applicant has given his father’s name Sachin Tendulkar.

However, what’s intriguing is the fact this Dhoni, son of Tendulkar, was even shortlisted by the officials for an interview. The events came to the limelight after the candidate did not turn up for the interview. While as many as 15 applicants were to be interviewed on Friday, when Mahendra Singh Dhoni did not turn up, it raised suspicion and they were quick to call up the number provided on the application after which they realised it was fake.

Dhoni an engineer from CSVTU University

It should be noted that as per the application, Dhoni had an engineering degree from CSVTU University, Drug. The other candidates, upon knowing the matter, quickly took to social media to share the application on social media. It is being learned that the authorities are preparing to lodge an FIR against the fake applicant.

Although the officials have stated that the application was fake, they haven’t been able to find how it made it to the interview round. However, as of now it has made for a viral social media post.

If the FIR is indeed lodged and a probe takes place, it will be interesting to see how the entire episode played out. As things stand right now, it has made for quite a viral content and people are lapping it up.
