England vs India 3rd T20I

The final game of the three-match between England and India is scheduled for July 10. While India started off with a win in Southampton, the action then shifted to Birmingham. The third and the last T20I is set to happen in Nottingham. India have been pretty dominant in the series so far but expect a battered England to come back strong for the final game after having conceded the series.

Ahead of both side’s final meeting of the series on Sunday, here is a stat-based prediction of what might happen in the match and which team might come out on top in the end.

1. Toss Prediction

Predicting India to win the toss. From the Ireland T20Is to the first T20I of this India-England series, they did not lose a toss. While they lost the toss in the second T20I, predicting Rohit Sharma to call it right in the final match.

2. Win Possibility

India have a better head-to-head record over England in this format of the game. Moreover, they beat England in the absence of the senior boys. With the addition of their best players and proven match-winners in the squad, they pulled off a similar result in the second match of the series. Expecting a similar result in the last match.

3. Team of the Day

The Team of the Day is India. They have been positive with the way they have gone about their business and they are likely to play with a similar mindset in the last match too.

4. Powerplay Score

India have dominated both the batting and bowling powerplay in the series so far. If that trend is to continue then India should score more than 45 runs in the first six overs while England might end up with fewer runs.

5. Average Score

The average first innings score in this series is 184. However, on both occasions, India have batted first.
