England Women are set to host India Women in a one-off Test at Bristol County Ground in Bristol from 16th June to 19th June 2021. India Women’s team will be playing a Test match for the first time after almost a gap of seven years. Led by veteran Mithali Raj, India Women will have their eyes on the record for the most consecutive wins in Women’s Tests.

The women’s team have won their last three Tests, with a record of having the most consecutive Test wins alongside Australia. A win in this one-off Test against England Women will register them as sole contenders with the most consecutive wins in the Women’s Test.

However, given the experience that the England Women team holds, especially in their playing conditions having played more Tests, the Heather Knight-led team might have an edge over India, and start off as favourites in this one-off Test. However, since England Women have never won a Test match at home against India Women, it’ll be interesting to see how these two teams fair against each other.
