
Former Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Virat Kohli paid tribute to legendary Indian singer Asha Bhosle. Kohli took to Instagram and to share an emotional message for Bhosle, who passed away on Sunday, at the age of 92. The star batter expressed how Bhosle’s voice touched millions of hearts. Notably, Bhosle breathed her last at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after suffering multi-organ failure last night.
The “Pyaar Hamara Amar Rahega” singer ruled the charts for over eight decades and sang over 12,000 songs in multiple languages. She dominated the Bollywood music industry and recorded songs in different genres. The news of Bhosle’s demise hit the country with grief, and tributes poured in for the National Award winning singer. Indian batter Virat Kohli also paid his respects to Bhosle via an Instagram story.
Kohli wrote, “Rest in peace, Asha Bhosle ji. Your voice touched millions and will live on forever in our hearts. Om shanti.”
