According to several reports, Borussia Dortmund's top striker Erling Haaland will move to defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the upcoming transfer window. As reported by one of the media houses, sources from Germany have informed that the Norwegian striker proposed move from Dortmund to Manchester is now a “done deal”, and should be confirmed this week.

Borussia Dortmund's sporting director Sebastian Kehl also updated about Haaland’s transfer saga. He said, “I know what is in the contract, we are bound by the exit clause. We have tried in the last few months to reach a decision on Erling’s future. But then came the death of Mino Raiola. Unfortunately, the issue has dragged on a bit. But I think we will have clarity in the next week.”

“Dortmund are pushing me to take a decision,” Haaland

Haaland himself has talked about his future and expressed that Dortmund is pushing him to make a choice. He said, “I haven’t spoken about my future out of respect for Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund are pushing me to take a decision, but right now I only want to play football. It looks like I have to start taking decisions soon.”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola also talked about the Haaland transfer rumours. "I don't have the concern or this business in my head right now to think about what is going to happen in this club next season," he said

Pep continued, “We are playing with good striker this season. So, I don't know what is going to happen in the future. It's next season, so I'm not going to talk. You know I've been coming here for a long time, for many years and I've never talked about transfer windows, especially when we are playing for incredible things still this season.”

“They have won one in 30 years,” Guardiola

Guardiola after their recent 5-0 win over Newcastle talked about how Liverpool has won the league only once in the last 30 years. He said, “One week ago, everyone in this country supports Liverpool, the media and everyone. Of course because Liverpool has an incredible history in Europe. Not in Premier League, they have won one in 30 years, but it's not a problem at all.”

“The situation is what it is, we have to do nine points, maybe six, depends on what happens the next two games. Now is Wednesday, a real final for us. We go to try to win. Our destiny is in our own hands, we have to think about ourselves. One point, three points, nothing changes.”
