Krafton India Esports officially announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 Grand Finals venue. After Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, now Chennai is all set to host one of the biggest esports events in India with a massive prize pool of INR 4 crore. The BGIS 2026 Grand Finals will be played from 27 to 29 March 2026. Here’s the BGIS LAN finals venue and other ticketing details.
BGIS 2026 Grand Finals Venue Revealed
KRAFTON India has announced that the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA Series (BGIS) 2026 LAN Finals will take place at the Chennai Trade Centre from 27th to 29th March. KRAFTON India has also appointed Swiggy Scenes as the official ticketing partner for the event.
Notably, the first edition of the BGIS was played online, the 2023 edition was held in Mumbai, the 2024 edition in Hyderabad, last year's Grand Finals were played in the City of Joy, Kolkata, and now the BGIS 2026 finals are all set for Chennai.
The LAN Finals in Chennai will bring together the country’s top-performing teams in a live arena setting, marking the culmination of months of competition. The 5th edition of BGIS continues to serve as a key competitive platform for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA players across the country. Chennai was selected as the host city owing to its strong gaming community, robust event infrastructure, and growing prominence as a hub for large-scale technology and entertainment events. Hosting the finals in Chennai reflects KRAFTON India’s focus on expanding high-quality offline esports experiences while strengthening regional fan access to marquee tournament moments.
The BGIS 2026 is currently in its last phase of the league stage, and the quarter finals of the tournament will kick off on 26 February. Krafton also announced that the official group draw will be broadcast live on February 25, introducing a new rank-based format that reshapes how teams are placed.
